I left a message asking anyone to contact me who remembered my family Peter,
George, Rena, Agnes, Mary, Eddie and Lizzie Boor. We were at Aberlour in the
1950's. However in my first message the email address is incorrect, so if anyone
has tried to contact me, please could you try again on this page. Mary

I would like to express my deepest thanks to both Trevor
and Allan for the help they given us in discovering information regarding Hugh
McAllister. We now have contact with a close friend of his. Also, through the
picture gallery we now have the first and only photo we have seen of Hugh. Any
information regarding Hugh's older brother, David Stewart (possibly McAllister)
would be most welcome. Ever hopeful, Shena Hubbard-Nixon and family

I am trying to find any information on the brother of my
mother, Mary McAllister. His name was Hugh Burke McAllister who drowned in the
river Spey while living in the orphanage in 1945, aged 14 years. Any photos or
any stories to tell would be greatly appreciated by my mother. Also anyone
knowing any information on David, Hugh's older brother, we'd be grateful as my
mother was put into a different orphanage and lost contact with both.

I am trying to find some kind of record on my grandfather.
We're pretty sure he was born in Tarbet and spent his childhood years in an
orphanage in Scotland, but we're really not sure which one. If you could help us
in any way you would have no idea how much it would be appreciated. In August,
I'm flying my mom to Scotland so she can see her dad's birthplace. If we could
find the orphanage where he was, it would help my mom because her dad never
wanted to talk about his early years. Here's the information I have. David James
Taylor date of birth : 10-26-1902 hair: br/gr eyes: blue height : 5-7 1/2 He
came to Canada, then eventually to the United States when he was about 21.
Thankyou very much for your time Karl Harms

Dear Trevor. I was at Aberlour
Orphanage between 1948 and 1955. I made my first return visit to Aberlour in
August 2000 and was so disappointed to see only the old School Clock Tower
remaining. You and Allan have done so well in organising the Reunion in
September 2001 and I am looking forward to going and meeting some of my old
childhood friends. Keep up the good work and see you in Sept
