Bass Guitars

Tim started playing the guitar at the age of 13 and progressed to the bass guitar in the early 1990's in order to broaden his musical scope.

Tim's initial career choice was based in graphic design but the lure of music proved to be too great and Tim has spent the last five years with music as his main profession.

1995 through 1998 were spent experiencing a long international touring schedule with the function bands 'Classic Years' & 'Excel'. During this period Tim also handled some of the vocal duties as another asset to his musical style.

Tim first met Oliver at the infamous 'Monday Night Jam Session' at the All Seasons (sadly no longer with us as a venue) in Bideford many years ago. They would meet on the doorstep of the pub carrying a guitar and keyboard respectively. The evenings would inevitably end up in a drunken sing-along with everyone fuelled up with beer. Tim feels he paid his dues during that eighteen-month period although he thinks he has never paid his bar tab!

Upon returning from touring, Tim met up with Oliver at one of Oliver's gigs with the R&B band 'Smokestack'. Tim joined Smokestack a few months later. After being suitably impressed with his playing style and humour, Tim was approached by Oliver for his involvement in the '3 Ages of Magick' project.
