Ashburton Hash House Harriers meet at 7:30pm every Tuesday, come rain or shine, usually near a pub and within about 30 minutes drive from Ashburton. This seems to cover virtually all South Devon thanks to an ambitious Hare Master! But what the heck, he's willing and let's face it it's a rotten job!
We're a friendly bunch who enjoy a trail of around 60 minutes and have a diverse pack of runners - some pretty fit that race away at the front, and another group that take life easy with a leisurely trot. The rest of us are somewhere in the middle, plugging away at whatever we encounter.
Dartmoor is obviously a favourite running area, although we mostly steer clear during the winter months when it can become dangerous up there! No sense in being fool-hardy! That could introduce an unnecessarily long delay getting to the bar for that well earned pint!
