We need more photographs
Akanthiotes time flies by, before we loose contact with our fellow-villagers of the late 20th century, we would like to widen our village friendship.
The aim of this website is to give Akanthiotes somewhere to go and meet up with old friends and share memories from the good old days. Very soon from our new club premises you will have the opportunity to see live pictures of your fellow-villagers who live here in London through our webcam, we will let you know when it is up and running.
In order to make this website a success we need lots of material from all of you Akanthiotes out there.
We need village photos colour or black & white, you can scan them to the size of the ones above, and then email them to Pantelis Pantelides ( click on the name ).
The photos must have scenery of Akanthou in the background. The subject of the photograph could be anything, shepherds grazing their animals, or farmers at work in the fields, or you could be fishing, how about special occasions like picnics, playing games,or even the traditional village wedding out in the open, anything you like.
