Ladies 3rds
vs Northop Hall Lost 1 - 4
Chester played well against Northop
Hall who have recently gained promotion.
Northop went two up in the first half hour and Chester managed to get
one back through Sarah Tilley to make it 2-1 at half time. In the second half, despite some good
attacking play from Chester Northop increased their advantage to make the
final score 4-1.

Ladies
3rds vs Timperley 4ths Won 8 - 1
Chester Ladies 3rds were in high spirits this weekend and
firing all guns facing Cheshire League opponents Timperley. Chester took the early lead but Timperley
were able to equalise through a lucky goal. Chester, with only 9 players,
showed both skill and flare to create abundant opportunities with goals
coming from Sarah Richards (3), Claire Gledhill (3) and Jenny Aspinall (2) to
give a scoreline which illustrated the attacking presence that Chester
displayed. Chester were determined
throughout the game with all players on the pitch taking an intergral part in
the winning performance. Man of the

Ladies
3rds vs Ellesmere Port Won 2 - 0
Chester Ladies 3rds turned on the
style in a 2-0 win over Ellesmere Port Ladies in a Cheshire League Fixture.
Jenny Aspinall converted the first goal from a superb Chester build up in the
first half. Chester piled on the
pressure throughout the first half but was unable to convert due to some
excellent saves from the Ellesmere Port Goalkeeper. The second half saw
Chester keep the attacking momentum as a result Chester converted a second
goal from skilful play from Claire Gledhill. Chester demonstrated outstanding
ability both attacking and defensively to complete and inspiring 2-0 win.

Chester
dominated this game from the start, with a solid performance. Goals came from
Claire Gledhill (2), Sarah Richards (2) and Francis Waters

3rds vs Sale 2nds Won 7 -1
Chester were always the stronger team and by half time were 4-0
up with goals from Tracy Hunt (2), Sarah Richards and Francis Waters. In the
second half Sale pulled one back, but Chester consolidated their win with a
further 3 goals from Jill Parkinson (2) and Shona Turrell

vs Crewe Vagrants Won 5 - 1
Chester dominated the first half and were 4-1 up by half time
with goals from Sarah Richards and Jilly Parkinson. In the second half
Chester continued their strong team play, but could only convert one more
chance when Sarah Richards completed her hatrick.

Chester started confidently with a strong team. They were soon
rewarded with a goal from Tracy Hunt. The well executed hockey continued and
more goals followed with an excellent deflection in from Jilly Parkinson, two
well struck short corners from top of the D by Dawn Nancollas-Doyle and a second goal from Tracy Hunt

Chester were down to 10 players before
the match even started, but despite this they kept a cool head against
Ellesmere Port. Alison Hones scored both of Chesters goals, the second in
the final minute of the game. Final score Chester 2, E.Port 1.
