Ascot Peña Flamenca was formed in January 1997 and takes place at Jagz Club, Ascot,
(link to jagz club) a wonderful venue not only for flamenco, but all forms of live music and dance - traditional jazz, blues, funk, Be Bop and Salsa and has the reputation as the best venue in the U.K. for top quality artists. The peña flamenca was started specifically to give the aficionado the experience of authentic flamenco at close quarters - a chance to see top artists from Spain in an informal and 'traditional' atmosphere - with much duende and jaleo and a chance to meet the artists. And of course time for Sevillanas in the interval. Always a professional show but aficionados are encouraged to get up and sing, play the guitar or dance before the show starts. Jagz Club has a superb menu and extensive wine list if you decide to dine.

Tickets are sold in advance and everyone is seated comfortably whether they dine or not.
