Our huge range of after-school activities

Pennthorpe aims to produce boys and girls who at 13, are academically strong, confident and well-balanced, with interests and enthusiasms outside the classroom.

One of the great strengths of Pennthorpe is the wide range of activities available for all ages after 'normal' school ends, designed with these aims in mind.

New skills, new interests, new challenges for the children, and the opportunity for busy parents to collect their children from school at 5, 6 or 7o'clock, are all available in the Flexiday Programme.

Activities on offer include;

• Archery
• Ballet
• Basketball
• Carpentry
• Climbing (on our own sports hall climbing wall)
• Computer Club
• Cubs (for boys and girls
• Gymnastics
• Horse riding
• Judo
• Pottery
• Roller disco
• Tennis

...... and more besides.

Children can sign up on a termly basis, or just occasionally if parents get held up at work or in the traffic. There is also an alternative of a quiet area where games and computers can be played while children wait for parents after the normal school day has ended. Perfect for those parents who are both working.
