"DIY / lo/fi / garage? Not really sure what to call it but its basic stuff and usually as fast & as short as we can make it. The main thing is a decent tune, a sick lyric and some attitude. Formation of the band was inspired by the latest bunch of punk bands and their triumph of styling & hype over content. Like Confucious say: "a pop band with a mohican does not a punk revival make". So we decided to get off our arses and show 'em how it should be done. Like everyone, we're influenced by everything we've ever heard and limited by what we can manage to play. Can't say who we sound like, 'cos if we thought we sounded like someone else we'd form a tribute band and make some money - haha. Others have compared us to Penetration, Devo, Dead Kennedys & The Fall - laughable really. S PUNK 7 are also available at www.s-punk7.co.uk "

Now semi-retired the band have stopped looking for work but if you want em to play they can usually be persuaded to break out the zimmer frames and make the effort. As they approach their twilight years the new material has slowed down a bit and wanders towards country sometimes (but not in a bad way) - check out the later EP, Valentines Day for evidence.
