The Surrey Heath Constituency, and before that the North West Surrey Constituency, have always returned Conservative Members of Parliament.

The current MP is Nick Hawkins who was elected in the 1997 General Election.

Nick plays an active part in the life of the local community.  He regularly attends school events, community activities and holds regular surgeries to help local people with issues.

His children go to local schools and Nick has lived in the constituency for over 4 years.

Nick has recently been appointed as front bench spokesman on International Development supporting the work of Caroline Spelman MP, the Shadow Secretary of State for International Development.  Nick also assists the Front Bench Home Affairs team.
