ADJUTANT(S)

1. There are usually two (one BB and one GB) Adjutants are appointed at the AGM and are responsible for:
a) the day-to-day discipline of the Camp, reporting to the Camp C.O. if necessary.
b) organising Parade/ Inspection procedures, Roll Calls, Fire Drill musters.
c) running the Tent Competition.
d) organising Staff for evening tent prayers.
and also
e) dealing with cases of misdemeanour and will bring serious cases before the Camp C.O.
f) making formal announcements or daily orders to the Camp in the Mess Tent.
g) ensuring that Sergeant-Majors are fully employed.
h) co-ordinating the numbers for meals with the Cook/ Quartermaster.
and
i) will take a share in managing the Washing-up Squads .
j) are responsible for instructing the Sergeant-Majors of their daily duties and responsibilities.
k) should ideally hold valid BB or GB Camp & Holiday Leadership and Camp Craft Certificates.

The Adjutants are accountable to the Commanding Officer.
