BANDMASTER

(a) This job suggests that the Bandmaster actually has a Band to master!

(b) If there is to be a Church Parade, the band is the 2nd Bath Company BB Brass Band (see the slides and hear the bugle march!).

(b) The Bandmaster organises the band and selects the music that will be played for the Sunday morning Church Parade. This will involve contacting Participating Companies to find out if they have any players who would care to join the band.

(c) The parade route will be planned and paced and the Bandmaster will calculate the repertoire that will be played and will devise a playlist..

(d) The Bandmaster will hold one Band Practise at Camp.

(e) The Bandmaster will select the Duty Buglers for the week's camp and will advise the publisher of the Stedfast Camp handbook for printing.

(f) It may be possible to arrange band tuition at camp and to test playing competences for badge work.
