PROGRAMME TEAM

1. PLANNING & PREPARATION
a) Prior to Camp, the Programme Team Leader is likely to delegate certain activities to be planned by members of the team.
b) The Team Leader may wish to arrange meetings as a group, individually or may communicate by telephone or email to discuss and share ideas and explore the way in which a good balanced 7 day programme can be delivered at Camp.
c) Planning items in advance is important and the Team Leader will either meet, exchange emails or telephone Team Members to ensure that the preparation is being done.
d) The Team Leader will monitor progress and will approve the level of progress made.

2. WORKING AS A TEAM
a) All teams go through "teething troubles" when they are first formed and it is hoped that those selected for the Programme Team will settle down very quickly and "run with the job".
b) As previously stated, under the direction of the Programme Team Leader, the Programme Team is to be pro-active in planning and organising a well-balance mix of demanding and enjoyable activities, including free time Competitions and regular events.
c) The Team Leader will arranged suitable review points with the Team to review progress and to resolve any problems before camp and during camp.
d) The Team should easily recognise when an activity is or is not well received by the campers and should, in any event, have another activity or game that they can call upon.

3. DELIVERING THE PROGRAMME
a) pro-active in the Team to deliver a well balanced, interesting, stimulating and safe programme for the campers.
b) organising individually assigned activities, ensuring that all equipment is ready prior to events.
c) check all equipment is returned to the Equipment Officer and the Equipment Tent.
d) as advised by the Team Leader, will assist with any activity organised by other staff.

4. LAST NIGHT & DAY OF CAMP
a) will supervise and assist Squad and Tent Commanders, as appropriate, in serving Camp Supper.
b) on the last day of camp, assist the Quartermaster, Equipment Officer, Mess Officer and "other heads of divisions" in cleaning up Camp before permission to leave has been given by the CO following the call "Last Post".
c) will receive confirmation from the Team Leader that all work is complete, prior to Dismiss of Camp.
