Comment: Wonderful site Peter, I really enjoyed your pictures and tutorials, especially the section on composition. Your tips on composition have been more informative then any book I've seen on the subject, either art or photography based, and will be of great help in my pursuit of better composition in photography.

Comment: Is it possible to get more instruction on the art of water colours...I took classes, but have not progressed beyond the practicing part....I am finding it very difficult,I can draw fairly well, but I seem to be hopeless at painting since my drawing is not bad but disappears once the paint is applied.....maybe I should revert back to sketching.....

I am at the stage where I am brave enough to try other peoples work. Would you be able to put some step by step lessons on your web page as I like your work?
Miriam 16/4/99   I love your paintings.Your landscapes are lovely. Congratulations.
Fran Birdsong 18/4/99 USA I often play on the internet searching for information which may be of interest or use to my artist husband.  Tonight I clicked on your website for the first time.  Didn't realize you were UK artist at first.  Yours is probably one of the best organized artist sites I have visited.  Will check in in the future to see what you've added.
Anon 18/4/99   I was commenting on how much I enjoyed your site and hope to paint the way
you do some day. I have put you in my favorite places so I can visit often.
Good Luck
Malcolm Talbot 19/4/99 UK Very impressive site.
Don Hyde 13/5/99 UK Hi Peter,
Had a good look this time. Like your paintings, quite a change from Bretby. How about doing some water colours of mining.
Nostalgia is the in thing at the moment, so I'm sure Hem Heath or the one that didn't really get off the ground, was it Ashfordby?
By the way, your space for putting my URL above is not long enough; it is http://theatreorgans.com/lancast/
Keep up the good work.
Frances Coleman 16/5/99 UK I enjoyed looking through your website very much. Your paintings are beautiful.

Heather Chandler 8/6/99 UK Have just spent a happy half-hour browsing when I had intended getting off to bed!   Super site, Peter.   See you in the morning.
David Collins 14/6/99 UK After visting the exhibition at Staunton Harold Hall I thought I would search the web to see if the guild had a web site - what a delightful surpise to find such a well produced and informative site. I am a keen watercolour painter and I left my name and address at the exhibition desk because I would very much like to be involved with the guild in some way. I note from your web site that membership is restricted so I would ask to be added to the waiting list! I would also appreciate details of the workshops that you organise which are open to non members. I look forward to hearing from you, best wishes,
