Science Status Bid By High School Hethersett High School is bidding to become one of the top science schools in the country. A total of £50,000 is required to put the bid forward and already the Friends of the School have raised over £30,000. In addition the science department has received a further boost when an extension to the science block was opened by Education Secretary Charles Clarke. In July the school held a sponsored activity day to help raise further funds. Activities varied from aeroplane design to sweet making and forensic work to volleyball. |
