We have converted a characterful old listed Barn into a large comfortable family house, and invite you to join us and stay in our 4 Diamond-rated Bed and Breakfast suite on our
working farm.
When we decided to convert the stable block into a home, we set out to maintain the character and integrity of its rustic and austere charm. The B-and-B suite enables you to enjoy the comfort and style of this beautiful building with privacy and an element of self-containment, as you will enjoy exclusive use of a
large-beamed bedroom, adjoining
lounge, and
dining area and an en-suite Victorian style bathroom.
As the suite is situated on the ground floor it is suitable for people with limited mobility and children, who are welcome to enjoy our large
enclosed grassed garden. Guests are welcome to explore the farmhouse garden and wander among the mature trees, including an enormous ancient copper beech, and a very pretty
pond, shrouded by weeping willows and home to two very silly geese.
Our land borders a meandering river which is home to many species of wildlife. Guests can enjoy private riverside walks and take part in course fishing, free of charge. Other facilities include the free use of bikes (at your own risk), to enable you to enjoy this wonderful biking terrain, where routes and distances suit most abilities.
Broxholme has a view of Lincoln Cathedral, which stands illuminated and majestic in the distance and creates a beautiful backdrop to this wonderfully peaceful hamlet, just ten minutes away from 2,000 years of history.
