Welcome to PippinJack. The old version of the website was looking a bit tired, amateurish, and out of date ( we haven't lived in Bristol since 2004!) so I decided to refurbish it. Who knows, I might even put some content on here one day...

The Clifton Pool
After a campaign that lasted nearly ten years the future of the Clifton Pool looks good. There is a link to the new owner's site on the left.
Keep Cinema Local
Despite a phenomenal amount of support, including Lord Puttnam, Paul McGann, Nick Park, and Massive Attack, the campaign to save the ABC cinema on Whiteladies Road was not successfull. The cinema closed and the Odeon Group put a restrictive covenant on the building preventing it being used as a cinema ever again.
