The Land is Ours

The Land Is Ours is a national land rights and access organisation which was brought to the fore when they occupied a vacant site in Wandsworth, South London in 1996 to create a sustainable eco-village.

The Bristol Chapter cut their teeth on Easter garden in April 1997, easing through the year saving an orchard in St. Paul's, a community festival in Montpelier and giving away 3,000 willow trees from College Green.

Current projects include protecting the city's allotments and helping local residents preserve and refurbish the Clifton Pool as a community leisure resource before this unique Victorian site is lost forever.
