My
name is Phil Foster and, as well as being Business Services Manager for a
leading BPO Company, I’m current Chairman of
the East Midlands Association of Motor Club, Chairman of the Lincoln Motor
Cycle and Car Club and I rally a historic Ford Anglia (40 year old technology,
but a little belter none the less).
I’ve also done my time as a race marshal
visiting most circuits in the UK, marshaled on rallies too many to mentioned
and been Clerk of the Course on championship road rallies.
I
was the Clerk of
the Course for The Bloodhound Stages- voted best Multi Use Rally 2003 in EMAMC
for 14 years and Deputy C of C for 3years.
I wanted to
compete and put something back into the sport I love so much - so my aim is
to help young Co-drivers get into the sport and if they wish, to help them attain International status.
I
believe I have had some success too date with my first Co- Driver
achieving her ambition of competing at WRC level on The Rally
Catalunya in 2004.
Another of my very competent Co-Drivers who started
in my service crew has in 2004 competed in The British Rally
Championship scoring excellent class results.
I
now have a new navigator for 2009, Rhiannon Blythe a very
competent Road Rally navigator who wanted to venture into stage
events. We have had a 2nd and 3rd in Class on our first 2 events
together - so watch this space.
So
I believe I have had some measure of success.
If
you think I could help you - get in touch.
