and was working as a hairdresser, it is believed in Union Street. The 1901 census shows William, aged 32 years living at 75 Union Street, East Stonehouse, Plymouth, Devon with
his wife Emma and two daughters. He is shown as a Hairdressers Assistant and as working at home. He died on 19th. January 1911at 17 Adelaide Street, East Stonehouse, Plymouth. (Source :-
Death Certificate of William CORY) An inquest was held into his death on 20th. January 1911 and was reported in the Western
Eveing News on 21st January 1911. The cause of death was established as 'Syncope due to excessive alcoholism'. William CORY was buried in Ford Park Cemetery on 23rd. January 1911, in Church Ground, Section P, Row 11, Grave number 93.
