EMMA MAUD GREEN

Emma Maud GREEN was born in Woolwich, Kent and was baptised at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Woolwich on 13th. October 1867. (Source :- Bishops Transcripts 1813 - 1875 St. Mary Magdalene Church, Woolwich.)

The 1881 Census shows Emma living with her parents and siblings at, Madford Wall, St. Mary Magdalene, Launceston, Cornwall. She is shown as a scholar.

Emma married William CORY of Tavistock, Devon on 22nd. August 1895 at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Launceston, Cornwall. (Source :- Marriage Certificate of Emma Maud GREEN and William CORY. Entry number 49 in the Register of marriages for St. Mary Magdalene Church, Launceston, Cornwall.)

She died in the Workhouse Infirmary, Plymouth, Devon, on 2nd. July 1915 (Source :- Death Certificate of Emma Maud CORY nee GREEN) Cause of death was Cancer and Cardiac failure. At the time of her death her address was 65 Keswick Street, Plymouth, where she lived with her two daughters, Gwendoline and Annie.
