ANTHONY HAWKINS
Anthony HAWKINS was born 21st March 1847 at Upwell, Isle of Ely, Cambridgeshire the son of John HAWKINS and Elizabeth COLEBACK (Source:- Birth certificate of Anthony HAWKINS. Entry number 464 in the Register of Births for the District of Walsoken, in the Counties of Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
The 1851 Census shows Anthony living at 2 March Hives Side, Upwell, Cambridgeshire with his parents and siblings.
The 1881 Census shows Anthony living at 51 Whitefriargate, Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire. He was in residence with his employer George R. Lampreier, a Bank Agent. Anthony is shown as a Bank Messanger.
He married Elizabeth WEEKS born Bow, Devon 5th.February 1847, the daughter of Thomas WEEKS and Grace COLE. (See Weeks Pages)
At the time of the birth of his son Anthony Thomas Cecil HAWKINS in 1893, he was living with his now wife Elizabeth at 10 Lambert Street, Cottingham, Sculcoates, Kingston upon Hull.
Anthony died and was buried in Sculcoates in about 1902.
