Five - Rock The Party

As you probably know, Five recently split up, and this the perfect song to leave with. Rock the Party is an fun rock/pop song, true to Five's normal style. The video to Rock The Party shows cartoon versions of Five members, Ritchie, J, Sean, Abs and Scott, but, to be honest, they're hardly realistic! The problem is, I don't think people are really interested in Five anymore, since they are no more. Five fans would be better off buying the Greatest Hits album, which is out now.

Backstreet Boys - Drowning

Like Steps, Madonna, Louise and Gabrielle, Backstreet Boys have just released plans a Best Of album, and this is the new single from it. Perhaps the boys are trying to please their British fans, because this sounds pretty much like every song on the Westlife album, all rolled into one. But, of course, the BSBs do it loads better than Westlife ever could!!

Kate Winslet - What If

This is a lovely song, by cool British actress, Kate Winslet. It's from the animated version of A Christmas Carol, released later this year, which features the voice of Kate Winslet. And this proves that, not only is Kate one of the best young British actresses of the moment, she's also a talented singer. This is a certain contender for Christmas number one, although it is released on the same day as Robbie Williams' duet with Nicole Kidman. The problem is, all I can think of is Titanic when I hear Kate's voice!
