Where Are They Now?

Are you wondering where all those old pop groups have gone? If you are, I may have an answer for you here. If you know where any of these bands (or any other old favourites) are now, please e-mail me and I will add it to this page.

911

911 were one of the most successful boybands of the 1990s, and had ten top ten hits including the number one, A Little Bit More, and four hit albums. After four years, the band split on the 26th February 2000.

North And South

This boyband were almost like the original S Club 7. They were launched through a children's TV comedy and released a few singles, including No Sweat and Moonboy, and had an album called All Sorts. I can tell you where two members of this group are now.

Lee (left) changed his name from Lee Otter to Lee West and released a Britney-style single called Wishin', which did not do very well in the charts. He is set to make a comeback in 2001, with a new single off a forthcoming movie soundtrack.

Sam was last seen on television on Michael Barrymore's My Kind Of Music, where he did not even admit to being in the band. I realised it was him because his name was Sam, he looked, dressed and sounded like the North & South member, and he worked in a recording studio, which I know was what he was doing after North & South finished.

Solid HarmoniE

Solid HarmoniE were a girl group with four members, who released quite a few singles, including I'll Be There and I Want You To Want Me, and one self-titled album.

The group came to an end in 1999 when Mariama was invited to join the Honeyz, which she left after about a year, to be replaced with original member Heavenli.

Melissa Graham (right) from the band has gone on to have a solo career in Holland and released two singles there, called Bulletproof and Welcome To My World.

Precious

Precious first found fame as the British entrants to the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999. Since then they have released four singles including Say It Again, It's Gonna Be My Way, New Beginning and Rewind.

Precious split up at the end of 2000, when sales of their album were not satisfactory. When Kerry left Atomic Kitten, Liz and Natasha asked Jenny from Precious to be Kerry's replacement. Since then the new Atomic Kitten have had a number one hit with Whole Again, and re-released their debut album Right Now with Jenny's vocals.
