At the time of updating the site, feedback from the Spey is that the last fishing season may be one of the worst seasons for years. I'm sure this is not confined to the Spey, and surely this must remove any lingering doubts of the need for drastic action before it's too late. On its own catch and release Will Not Solve the problem, it needs to be adopted as one of a package of measures designed for the sustainable future of our salmon stocks. So this is an easy way for each of us to make a valuable contribution to the survival of the wild Atlantic salmon, and still practice our sport. ‘Let go’ its ‘The Way to Go’.
