Club Nights

Club Nights are held on Monday and Thursday evenings at 1800 commencing 6 April. The format is generally mixed doubles with pairings being organised by the on-duty committee member. Club balls are provided.

Junior Priority

Juniors have priority on all courts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 16.00 and 18.00.

Bookings can be made between 4pm and 8pm only. Phone numbers are shown on the membership card.

Bookings can be made not more than 3 days in advance (7 days ahead for summer tournament matches).

** Between 1000 and 1200 on Sunday bookings are restricted to 1 hour.

A booking is for 1 hour on the hour, but can be for up to 2 hours for tournament matches and doubles.

PUBLIC PLAY: On Tuesdays and Thursdays Court 1 is open to the public from dawn to 1700 (public to be clear of courts by 1800). The court is bookable from The Castle Stores on The Green.

UNBOOKED PLAY: Courts may be used by any members if free. Unbooked sessions give way to other unbooked waiting players on the hour.

JUNIOR PRIORITY: Adult members give way to waiting juniors at the end of the next game.

CLUB EVENING: Restricted to members aged 16 and over.

NON-MEMBERS: Members guests may play with them (but not normally during Club sessions) on payment of £1 per adult, 50p per Junior per hour to any Committee member.

SHOE TAGS SHALL BE WORN WHENEVER PLAYING to identify club members.

Please lock the courts and slacken off the nets at the end of play if no other players are taking over the court.
