98th (The Prince of Wales’s) Regiment, embarked on the Euphrates on 26th August for Bombay. The married women and families were left behind and sailed on 16th October for Bombay on board the Serapis.

 

28th (North Gloucestershire) Regiment, 158 Men arrived 16th August on board the Orontes to join the 28th Regiment

 

26th (Cameronian) Regiment arrived 18th August with 14  Officers, 4 Officer's Wives, 7 Children, 4 Servants, 471 NCO's and men on board the Tamar. Arrived 18th August the Euphrates with two Companies, 6 Officers, 1 Officer's wife, 186 NCOs and Men, 8 Female Servants, 58 Soldiers Families
