Welcome to the site. It was inspired whilst travelling around my home town of Bradford, and reading the billboards and signs outside the various churches and thinking "hey, I like that one!" Some were funny signs; some more thought provoking signs; and some, well they were just weird signs! So the idea was formed to write them down and keep a record of them for future reference, and what better place than the internet !
At the moment there are not very many, but hopefully as time passes, and more submissions come in the number will grow. So if you like what you see and would like to see your favourite sign included here too, send it in, and I will add it. (it does not have to be from the UK)
At the moment the entries are mainly text based, but I am in the process of adding more graphical signs and images, which hopefully help to create a more eye-catching site.
Finally a word of thanks to my wife who not only encouraged me to get the project off the ground, but has also kept on encouraging me to keep up with it. Her advice, support (not to mention aesthetic sense) I am indebted to.
