This double-DVD programme is a circular tour of 4 classic Yorkshire car rallies and two museums, whilst taking in the medieval city of York, the ancient town of Beverley, and a famous stately home along the way.
DISC 1 : 2010 105 mins
From the Humber Museum in Hull with 25 Humbers on display, we ride in a 1963 Humber Sceptre to the historic town of Beverley
where we join an evening rally of some 200 classic cars in the Market Place, that includes scooters and bikes. A 1938 Sunbeam Talbot takes us to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Vintage Vehicle Weekend. There are classic cars at all stations and music at Levisham by Jive Express and Shadows Music plus Spectacular Steam Action and footplate shots
DISC 2 : 2010 120 mins
The annual Newby Hall Rally by the North Eastern Club for Pre-War Austins, where we arrive by Daimler to THE rally of the year - 2000 vehicles on show. In York, we look around Minster before going onto the Humber rally and view steam at the York Railway Museum. We end with a Classic road run back through Market Weighton and its steam fair as we ride a classic Humber back for a more detailed look at Marshall's Humber Museum in Hull.

THE EAST COAST RUN
A Double disc compilation celebrating the 40th anniversary of the East Coast Run.
Disc 1. 68mins : Shows the 1993 Rally .. and part of 1991, captured on archive film. 1993 was the Jubilee Year of this well-established Vintage Vehicle run, via Beverley and Driffield to Bridlington. Includes platform ride to the rally on AEC Bridgemaster, EYMS 747. As well as the visuals, the sounds are straight out of memory lane, or rather Sunday trips to Hornsea and Bridlington .. wonderful ! ... 68mins.
Disc 2. 98mins : Shows the 2003 / 2004 & 2006 .. Runs, following the new route, via "Brid Low Road", along the A165 via Skirlaugh and Beeford, entering Bridlington down Kingsgate before going on to Sewerby Fields. The programme includes a visit to the Humber Car Museum in Hull, and the whole compilation captures the spirit of the times, along with the dedication and hard work of all the entrants in each rally. ...98mins.

40th ANNIVERSARY EAST COAST RUN 2008
Organised by the East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Classic Car Club, the 40th East Coast Run went from East Park in Hull to Bridlington on the 8th June 2008 with over 500 classic vehicles taking part.
As well as seeing classic cars, buses, coaches, lorries, vans, fire engines and motorcycles, we also have a ride in a Jaguar Mk2 and a Humber Sceptre. We also see the winners of the various classes being presented with their trophies. There was also a 1960's fashion parade hosted by Diana Hudson.

HUMBERS ... The story of the Humber marque
This film includes the Humber Centenary Rally in 1996, and is the story of a company that started out making bicycles in late-Victorian Nottingham and went on to produce the famous and iconic Humber car in Coventry as part of the Rootes Group at the turn of the 20th Century.
We'll see something of the life of Thomas Humber, cars and trucks by Humber during World War II, as well as royal tours and the London to Cape Town drive by G Hinchcliffe.
Includes a visit to the famous Humber collection by Marshall's that are still whisking brides off to their weddings in East Yorkshire.

Driffield Traction Engine Cavalcade; Cars, many traction engines at this famous annual rally, along with vans and tractors parade in convoy through Driffield Town Centre.
Sewerby Hall, Bridlington; 300+ cars on display at the idyllic hall and gardens near Bridlington on a lovely sunny day in August.
DISC 2 : North Yorkshire Moors Railway; two visits to Goathland in April and October due to demand. 60 cars on display on both occasions. Classic Cars meet Classic Steam. EYTCC RALLIES 2010

This new two-DVD set features plenty of steam action on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and covers most of the major galas from the last 10 years, 2000 - 2009. To many, it was the very best decade ever on the Moors with many visiting engines and vintage memories of great steam occasions.

YORK CENTRAL
Built by Ken Harland, hosting trains from all regions under a well-known roof. Ken describes his 20'x8' "00" mainline layout which has been under construction for 25 years.
A brief history of the station is followed by a detailed look at the whole of Ken's layout with comparison views showing York station in brief 1960s archive scenes plus today's mainline steam 2009-10.
The film concludes with brief footage of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway including a footplate ride on Sir Nigel Gresley.
All proceeds from this DVD package will go to the maintenance of the NYMR loco fleet & projects.

SUTTON on HULL .. PORTRAIT OF A VILLAGE
. . . An exceptional value re-ssue of this DVD ... featuring the original "Portrait of a Village" that was first released on VHS.
We see some of Sutton's history and consider how the village has changed over the course of many centuries to become the village and suburb of Hull that it is now. The railway, the church, various hostelries and local businesses, as well as some renowned and memorable characters, are looked at over the last two centuries, plus archive film from the 1950's and 60's.
