We now have nine receptionists. They have the difficult task of best matching our patients needs to our appointment system.
Secretaries
There is a reasonable amount of parking behind the surgery, accessed from the drive to the right hand side of the surgery. Please be careful of the concrete bollards. The first entrance is for disabled patients, the second entrance is for other patients. Please park carefully at right angles to the walls / fences. Please do not go pass the wooden fence, the parking beyond that belongs to our neighbours, who require access through our car park. If the car park is full there is pay & display off street parking on station road both in front of and near the surgery.
For those who arrive by bicycle, there is a bicycle rack behind the surgery. Please do not park bicycles against the railings at the front, which can block the disabled ramp.

The surgery is open
We run a full appointment system. There are appointments every weekday morning, afternoon & most lunchtimes. We have made many changes to it recently to try and match our patients requirements. We can usually offer you an appointment on the same day if you ring early. For follow up appointments with a particular doctor or nurse the waiting time is longer.
Visits are only for house bound patients. Please request these before 10am. We now often have doctors doing lunchtime surgeries, who have time to do visits in the morning but not later. We may ring you back to discuss other ways of meeting your needs.
