Westward League Cross Country, St Austell, 03/11/2002
Kirsty repeated her Redruth victory in even more convincing fashion (winning by over 30 seconds). Kevin, unfortunately, found one too good for him today but keeps the overall series lead. Lorraine had a superb run in the ladies, while we had a number of other top ten places.

Reebok International Cross Country Series, Margate, 17/11/2002
Margate on the Kent coast is a long way to travel for a race, but the chance to represent the South West in the trials for selection for the European Championships was the honour given to three of our runners. In the ladies event the two Vickys, Pincombe and Rolfe ran, while Kevin Heywood took part in the mens event.

North Devon Schools Cross Country, Bideford College, 29/11/2002
The North Devon schools moved to Bideford after a number of years at West Buckland, and a good move for our young athletes it was. To no-one's surprise, Kirsty Hamilton took the junior girls race, while eight other athletes made the top ten of their races, maybe enough to qualify for the next stage. The major innovation was the welcome addition of races for Year 7 pupils, where Maria Clements was the only Blues representative.
