Westward League Cross Country, Redruth, 12/10/2003
At last a decent day of weather for the Redruth leg of the Cross Country season. Kevin made a fine start to his defence of the overall mens title, drawing away from the field in the second half of the race for a comprehensive victory. Good packing from the men behind augurs well for the season. Among the juniors, Ben Pomeroy, in his first race at Westward League level, had the best performance, coming through to finish as runner-up

B M A F Cross-Country Relay Championships, Millfield, 25/10/2003
What an excellent performance from our O/40 men's relay team. Deciding to concentrate on this event rather than take their chances with the senior age group in the 6-stage relay, that decision was totally vindicated when they returned home from Somerset with National silver medals. 12 seconds was all that seperated them from Gold medallists Woodford Green, with a further 11 seconds back to third placed Bournemouth.
