"Remembering Lorelei", The Book |
A few years ago, there were times
when I had noticed a woman's presence but did not know
who she was. In appearance, she was tall and slim, like
Lorelei, though a couple of inches shorter. Her face was
a little smaller than Lorelei's and more rounded, with
dark hair, which was quite short and curly. One evening, Liz Merritt, a healer colleague, offered to help me make a connection, or a stronger one, with my Guardian Angel. (One of Liz's specialist areas is Angels.) The result was that I discovered the woman I had seen was my Guardian Angel. (Angels are androgynous but often choose to present themselves in an easily recognisable form.) When I asked for a name, I found that the one I was given was, physically, unpronounceable. Liz suggested I ask my Angel for help. I did so and the response, after a lengthy pause, was, "Will Cathy do". So, she has been "Cathy" since then. During that evening, Liz suggested that I ask Cathy for whatever I wanted. She said not to hold back, ask for anything. Although I did not take any liberties, I clearly saw Cathy's hands holding a reporter's style notebook and pencil, making a list with the comment, "You really need Mary Poppins, don't you?" Sometimes, Liz invokes Angel healing, particularly during her Angel Workshops. The energies involved, and the effects, are noticeably greater, far greater, than with "ordinary" healing. During one of my visits to St Faith's Church, Havant, Cathy was present, as was a man with neat black hair. He introduced himself as Alan, Cathy's Angel Guardian, which, I was advised, meant that he was, effectively, her Supervisor. Nowadays, Cathy invariably joins me during healing sessions. On a number of occasions Alan has also joined us. Often, the Guardian Angel of the person we are healing has been visibly present, as well as other non-physical people. Over the last few months, Cathy has taken to specialising in looking after the crown chakra of the person we are healing. Since the crown chakra is the main connection with the higher realms, that seems quite appropriate for an Angel.
