Richard Taylor creates sculptural pieces and artefacts in carved oak and beaten copper. His imagery celebrates our mythic inheritance Virtually all of his work is bespoke and unique although he does also produce a limited number of smaller high quality artefacts in short, hand crafted production runs. His work is primarily but not exclusively designed to be set in gardens, where pieces often function as fountains and waterspouts. Sometimes they are animated by moving water. Large and small commissions receive equal care and attention to detail and each piece is individually designed and created for its specific location and to fulfil the particular needs and expectations of clients.
