Dear Lizzie Ann, David, JM & Lona
We now take the pleasure of writing these few lines to you hoping that you are all quite well as we are all pretty well at present. It is a very fine day here. Our Preacher did not come but Mr Sylvanias Jones did preach for us after Maengwyn this morning. His text was Philippians, 3rd chapter, 10th verse first part that I may know the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings.
Our School was 76. Tonight we have no Preacher. We are going to have reading scripture and prayer and service of song, so you see it will be very enjoyable. Hoping dear Lizzie Ann and David and Miss Hughes are spending a very happy Sunday. The oldest daughter of Ed. Francis died very sudden on Wednesday about 12 oclock in Mrs Thomass shop up street. You know she was there much. So their sorrow is very great again. I must beg Davids pardon, I did not say goodbye to him. I was in such a splutter with the children. We all feel the loss of the dear little children but never mind, must be so in this world parting. Write soon. May the blessing of God and love of Christ be with you all. Amen. So we have no more news to tell you at present.
