Map and Directions

The Ship Inn is situated on Altrincham Road, Styal, near to the junction with Styal Road (B5166).

Directions: Starting from the centre of Wilmslow, head north along the Manchester Road (old A34), straight through the traffic lights near Wilmslow Railway Station (signed to the right), downhill to the roundabout, straight through the roundabout and uphill for 100metres. Take the left side road onto Styal Road, signed "Styal". Follow the road for one and a half miles until you see a sign for Styal Railway Station signed to the right hand side road. Ignore this side road, continue north for 50 metres and Altrincham Road is on the left. Turn into Altrincham Road and the Ship Inn is 100 metres along on the right.

Alternative Directions: Coming to Wilmslow from the Handforth on the Old A34 Manchester Road. South of Handforth you will come to a traffic lights with Bluebell Garage showroom on the left. Turn right at these lights and continue for two miles along the dark, winding and for a short stretch severly cobbled, Stanneylands Road. On reach the T-junction just past Styal Railway Station, turn right and Altrincham Road is 50 metres on the left. Turn into Altrincham Road and the Ship Inn is 100 metres along on the right.
