Altrincham & Hale
Venue: A.S.E (Amalgamated Society of
Engineers) Club, High Bank, off Dunham Rd (A56),
Altrincham. (Manchester A-Z Map P79 D4). Access up a
partly hidden road above and behind the Esso petrol
station, opposite new office block (The Warrant
House). Parking on road off the A56 past the office
block.
Night: Tuesday 7:30-10:30
Bramhall
Venue: Melbourne room, Bramhall Village
Club, Lumb Lane. From the roundabout at Bramhall
centre, go along Bramhall Lane towards Stockport for
60m. Turn right down Lumb Lane. The Club car park is
250m on the right and the Melbourne Room is the one
nearest the car park. Enter using the new steel steps
on the far side of the room (not the concrete steps
on the near side).

Denton
Venue: The Jolly Hatters Pub, Town Lane,
Denton (Manchester A-Z Map P63 E3). From Denton
centre (Crown Point), go 1/3 mile along Stockport
Road. Just past a black and white church, turn right
down Town Lane. The pub is 1/2 mile on the left.
Night: Wednesday 7:30-11:00
East Cheshire
Venue: The Institute, Church Road, Cheadle
Hulme, (opposite Woods Lane School) situated on the
corner of a mini-roundabout at the junction of Hulme
Hall Road, Church road and Gillbent Road.
Night: Wednesday 7:30-11:00
High Peak
Venue: Sporty's (Buxton Sports &
Social Club), 12 Scarsdale Place, Buxton. On entering
the town from Stockport, follow the signs for
Macclesfield until you pick up the signs for the
Market Place. Sporty's, previously known as the 'bus
club' is located on Buxton Market Place between
Yeoman's Army Stores and the Late Shop.
Night: Wednesday 7:30-11:00
Holmes Chapel
Venue: Victoria Club, Victoria Avenue, off
London road, Holmes Chapel. 100m south of only
traffic lights in the village on A50, Victoria Avenue
is on the right just before the phone box.

Knutsford
Venue: Knutsford Sports Club (01565
632721), Mere Heath Lane, Knutsford. From Manchester
on A50 turn left at the Island in Canute Square
(sinposted "Town Centre"). Follow road
round to left for about 1/4 mile passing Lord Eldon
Pub on left. At the next crossroads Mere Heath Lane
is facing you. The club is about 1/4 mile on the
left. (Please don't confuse the Sports Club with
Knutsord Leisure Centre which is on the other side of
the village.

Macclesfield
Venue: The Nag's Head, Watersgreen,
Macclesfield, near the railway station.

South Manchester
Venue: The Albert Bowling & Tennis
Club (0161 445 1056), 39-41 Old Lansdowne Road, West
Didsbury, Manchester M20 8PA. From North head down
Palatine Road and turn left at Lapwing Lane, turn
first left into Old Lansdowne Road, club is 30 yards
up on left but set back. Car park in front of club
for 12 cars (Manchester A-Z P72 3A).

Stockport
Venue: The Ladybrook Hotel, Fir Road,
Bramhall, Stockport SK7 2NP (Manchester A-Z P114 E3).
From Stockport Town Centre go south on Wellington
Road South. Turn right at the blossoms pub into
Bramhall Lane (A5102). After about 1.5 miles you come
to the large roundabout. Take the second exit turning
left straight away into Fir Road. Ladybrook Hotel is
150 yards along on the right. From the south on
Macclesfield Road turn left into Dean Lane (A5143)
signed to Bramhall Hall. Go straight on at the
mini-roundabout. At the next roundabout, turn left
and left again into Fir Road.
