Eucryphia x 'Nymansay'

Rod's Garden

A few photos. Click on the images for a larger picture

The West side of the Hall is in the left background. Middle background is 'Porth Mawr' (Large Gate). The Wellingtonia is on the 'Kennel Lawn' This is the wet lawn I'd like to fill with Fritillaries and Daffodils. Out of the picture to the right are a Metasequoia planted for the late Lord Mostyn's 75th birthday and a Swamp Cypress planted in 2000 for his 80th. The Rose Garden is hidden by the grass banks in the middle beyond the Wellingtonia. The lawn on the left is the 'Tennis Court' lawn, named for the tennis court which used to be in the centre of it. Just about where I stood to take the photograph is a young Cedrus libanii, also planted for Lord Mostyn's 80th birthday.

Please don't ask, it isn't open to the public and I have to respect my employer's privacy.
