This is Wells Street,the old photograph was taken from a book called,

A HISTORY OF THETFORD by Alan Crosby.

The picture was taken just after the First World War,none of the building are there.

Please note that I did not get permission to us the photo and hope that no one minds !

This pictures was taken on Sunday June 29th,a little further up the street as you

can just see the edge of St Cuthbert`s Church.The building at the end of the road is the

library.
