Reverse Hand Exercise -
Gyakute Waza

This is the last of the fundamental methods that I created for the Shinseido system. It was completed during July 1999. It is the first method that follows the pattern of a cross to the four points of the compass (shi ho). The exercise incorporates the dragon (rooted) stance and strong yet smooth circular hand techniques. Although it is seemingly very simple the principles that it contains are of the greatest importance.
