1.William Angell born 1825  in Itchen, Southampton

 He was a mariner/ships steward and he married on 21st October 1849 to Elizabeth Heathcote born 1828 in Itchen, Southampton, Her father was John Heathcote (a Ships Pilot).

William had died by 1881 and Elizabeth (a widow) was a machinist (sewing) living at Highlands Cottage, Sholing, Southampton.

1 Elizabeth Wheeler Angell born 1850 and christened on 17th Dec 1850 in Sholing, Southampton. 


2. William James Heathcote Angell. born 1852 and christened on 26th September 1852 in Sholing, Married on 13th February 1877 to Kate Eliza Bascomb born 1860. He was a shipping clerk in the docks. Her father was Bennet Bascomb. In 1881 William and Kate plus his brother John were living with Kate's mother at 1 Fisher Street, West Ham, Essex.   

William and Kate had a son  James William Angell  christened on 25th March 1883 he became an apprentice plumber. In 1901 he was living with his uncle Walter Angell and his family.


3. John Heathcote Angell born 1854 and christened on  26th September 1854 in Sholing. In 1881 he was still single and he was a ships steward.  In 1901 he was a Docks labourer.     


4. George Heathcote Angell born 1854 and christened on  26th September 1854 in Sholing. (Twin of John)  Died 7th November 1858 aged 4


5. Herbert Heathcote Angell born 1858 and christened on 27th February 1859 in Sholing. In 1881 he was employed as a Docks Clerk, He married on 11th January 1883 in Millbrook  to Mary Ann Manning born 1856 in Redbridge, Southampton. Her father was Moses Manning a carpenter. Mary Ann had died by 1901 and living with Herbert were her sisters Louisa J Manning b. 1860 and Rose E Manning b. 1869. Also living with Herbert was his Nephew William A Mould b.1897 son of Jane and Walter Mould

 William Herbert Angell born 3rd February 1884 and christened on 23rd March 1884, in 1901 he was a Docks Clerk

 Harold Leonard Angell born 11th November 1888 and christened on 24th December 1888 Not in 1901 census assumed had died

 Gladys Maud Angell born 19th January 1890 and christened on 23rd March 1890 in Sholing


6. Robert Heathcote Angell born 1861 and christened on 7th July 1861 in Sholing. In 1881 he was  a Joiners apprentice. He married  Sarah Ann White on 18th August 1883 in Sholing, Southampton. Her father was David White a cabinet maker

Robert and Sarah Ann had six children

 Stella Eveline Angell born 22nd June 1884 and christened on 28th September 1884 in Sholing

 William Albert Angell born 1887 and christened on 24th April 1887 in Sholing

 Robert Herbert Angell born 17th June 1888 in Shirley  and christened on 21st October 1888 in Sholing.

Hilda Lovell Angell born 1889 and christened on 20th October 1889 in Sholing

Vivian Angell born 1890 and christened on 19th September 1890 in Sholing

 Eugene Frank Angell born 14 October 1893 and christened on 8th Jan 1894


7. Walter Heathcote Angell Born 21st September 1863 in Sholing. In 1881 he was employed as a Plumbers apprentice, He married about 1885 to a girl named Florence Sarah born 1863 in Southampton

Walter and Florence had five children

 Walter Heathcote Angell born 1886 and christened on 20th June 1886.  In 1901 he was an apprentice plumber

 William Angell born 1887 and christened on 11th December 1887

 Emma Florence Angell born 4th October 1892 and christened on 27th November 1892.

 Florence Harris Angell born 5th January 1897 and christened on 7th February 1897

 Reginald Angell born about 1900 and christened 1900


8. Jane Ann Angell born 1867 and christened on 10th November 1867 in Itchen, Sholing. She married Walter Mould born about 1867 in Lymington, Hampshire.

She married on the 7th April 1890 in St Marys Extra Church, Sholing, Southampton and died 18th June 1910 in 149 St Marys Rd, Southampton, buried 25th June 1910 in Southampton

Eliza was only 40 years old when she died, and was married to Alfred Evan Smith Johnston
