1. George Drew born 1860 in St Pancras, London.
He married on 25th December 1880 (aged 20) in St Mary's Church, St Mary's, Southampton to Mary Ann Sims born 1857. In 1881 they lived in 5 King Street, Southampton. He was a Fireman/Seaman and he died before 1884.

1. George William Drew born 1878 and christened on19th September 1878.
This was two years before his parents married
2. Thomas Drew born 1881 and christened on 16th February 1881 in 5 King Street, St Mary's, Southampton.
He died aged 5 weeks and was buried on 23rd March 1881 in the Old Cemetery. Grave site N-083-170.
This was two months after his parents married.
3. Margaret Clara Drew born 1882 and christened on 25th February 1882 in 5 King Street, St Mary's, Southampton. She died aged 15 months and was buried on 31st May 1883 in the Old Cemetery. Grave site P-100-085
This was five months after her father died
Mary Ann re-married on 11th February 1884 to Albert Alexander (born 1856) . He was 32 years old and the 1881 census showed that he came from St Croix on the Island of St Thomas, West Indies. He was a seaman/fireman and his father John was a seaman cook. He was a Boarder in 1 York Square, St Mary's, Southampton.
Mary Ann was now aged 24 and they had a son Albert born 1885.
In 1891 they lived in 3 Cross Court, Cross Street with her only surviving child George William Drew (aged 12)
7. George William Drew born 19th September 1878.
Baptised 3rd May 1881 in the Parish of St James's Dock. He lived at 76 Albert Road, Chapel. A sail maker by trade and known by his friends as "Monkey Drew" He married Hannah Morgan in St Mary's Church on 25th December 1901.
George and Hannah ran a shop at No 7 York Street, St Mary's, Southampton. They moved from No 7 to No 9 in 1910 and sold general goods here until 1935 when it was purchased by the City Corporation as part of a clearance scheme.
The name G. Drew can be seen over the shop (No 9) in the original photo.
They then moved to 54 Clifford Street, Southampton.
George was buried 8th January 1947 (aged 68) and Hannah on 13th February 1956 (aged 74)
They both share a grave (C-003-086) in Hollybrook Cemetery, Southampton

1. William George Drew born 1903 and christened on 6th May 1903 in 7 Evans Street. He never married and he had a scholarship in painting (he was a very good artist)
He died in 1937 (aged 33) in 54 Clifford Street and was buried on 21st January 1937 in The Old Cemetery, Hill Lane, Southampton. Grave site O-146-016. He shares this grave with Albert, Annie and Ellen
2. Albert Charlie Drew born 1905 and christened on15th August 1905 in 7 Evans Street, he died 1907 (aged 19 months) in 7 Evans Street and was buried 19th March 1907 in The Old Cemetery, Hill Lane, Southampton. Grave site O-146-016.He shares this grave with William, Annie and Ellen
3. Ellen Jane Drew born 1907 and christened on 15th December 1907 in 7 Evans Street. She married in August 1937 to Charles William Hurst born 1906. She died in May 1938 (aged 30) and was buried 21st May 1938 in The Old Cemetery, Hill Lane, Southampton. Grave site O-146-016. She shares this grave with William, Albert and Annie
4. Baby born dead 1910
5. Harry Drew born 20th April 1911 in 9 Evans Street. He was a plumber at Harland & Wolfe (shipbuilders) in Southampton docks. He married Rose Titcombe on 26th December 1940 and he died at his home in Shirley, Southampton in July 1969 (aged 58).
Harry and Rose had three children

7. Frederick Drew born 14th March 1916 died 16th March 1916 (aged 2 days) and was buried 16th March 1916 in The Old Cemetery, Hill Lane, Grave site P-133-004
8. Annie Florence Drew born 31st October 1917 died in March 1923 (aged 5 yrs) and was buried on 1st April 1923 in The Old Cemetery, Hill Lane, Southampton. Grave site O-146-016. She shares this grave with William, Albert and Ellen
9. John Robert Drew (Jack) born 22nd March 1920 in No 9 Evans Street, St Mary's, Southampton. He married Betsy Louise Parker on 12th June 1940 and John died 1968 (aged 48) and Betsy died 1997.
Jack and Betsy had three children , Gloria Mary Drew, John Harold Drew b.1945- d.1947 (Aged 2) Robert Alfred James Drew.
10. Mary Dorothy Drew born 1922
11.Doris Margaret Drew born 12th December 1924 in No 9 Evans Street, St Mary's, Southampton. Married on 3rd March 1945 to Mark Edgar Judd born 30th October 1925. Mark was a barman in the merchant navy, later they both managed various social clubs. Doris (Dorie) died in March 1984 (aged 60) .Mark died March 2005. (aged 79)
