The 14th/20th King's Hussars The 14th/20th Hussars were formed in October 1922 but it was not until 1936 that they assumed the title of 14th/20th King's Hussars.
The 14th/20th Hussars were formed in 1922 and went to Egypt for 2 years in 1931 and then on to India. It was whilst in India that they were retitled to 14th/20th King's Hussars and gave up their horses for mechanisation. In 1938 the Regiment were equipped with Vickers light tanks mk IIs and VIs.
