THE LIFE STORY OF GIPSY CORNELIUS SMITH
Transcribed by Judy Cole, with an Introduction by Sharon Floate (A5, 44 pages)

First published in 1890. Originally issued as a pamphlet in which to share with others his previously 'Godless' ways and subsequent 'conversion', this booklet therefore contains much evangelism. But it also records much about the life and experiences of Cornelius Smith and his family during the 19th Century, and gives the reader an insight into the hardships experienced by those of our ancestors who followed the travelling way. Transcribed by Judy Cole, this re-print comes with an introduction by Sharon Floate, and the addition of genealogical and census information to enhance the original text.
