You can connect a single 2.5" Hard drive to this IDE connector. You can buy A1200s with a 170MB hard drive as standard, and also without one. You can also buy suitable Hard Drives from most Amiga and PC dealers. If you want to add more IDE Devices you will have to upgrade the IDE Interface
