Left Hand Part
Putting it together!

Year 6 Keyboard tune - This Old Hammer!

This simple tune uses only five notes. Try to use all the fingers of your right hand to play it.

Put the right hand thumb on the note D (between two black notes) and place the fingers on the next four notes, E, F, G and A

Once you can play it on your own the tune can be easily adapted as a duet. The second part is the same as the first, but delayed.

Once you can play the tune easily with the right hand fingers you can begin to put in a left hand part.

To begin with use your 5th finger and thumb on your left hand to alternate between D and A.

Now move the whole left hand so you can play G and D in the same way

And finally A and E.

Follow the tune above.
The Chord symbols show that a guitar would use Dm, Gm and A7 chords to accompany the tune.
Where there is a Dm play D and A, where there is a Gm play G and D and for the A7 chord play A and E.
