The hotel is a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse close to the river Severn with its fine riverside walks yet within a few minutes walk of the town centre. It is a small family hotel. Warm, friendly and informal, our aim is to provide a homely tasteful enviroment with high standards in food and cleanliness. Essentially we cater for bed and breakfast but can provide evening meals as well as packed lunches. There is parking space at the front but when those spaces are taken there is a large and reasonably priced car park just around the corner, about 50 yards away. We have a guest lounge with the usual facilities and a separate dining room. Both have a good deal of original decorative plasterwork in excellent condition, which not only enhances the decor but provides a particularly pleasant atmosphere in which to eat or relax. On fine days guests are most welcome to use the secure garden which is sheltered and quiet and an ideal place to spend a sunny summer afternoon. We also have a hotel licence which enables them to serve a fairly wide range of wines.
