Welcome to the 2005/2006 season

We hope the season will be a good one and that all competitors, old and new will enjoy the forthcoming season.

The SBU(South) oversees the running of contract bridge in clubs which are affiliated to the Scottish Bridge Union.

It runs the local league and knock-out competions. The district also holds an annual bridge congress, which will be of the 3rd,4th, 5th March 2006, as well as a Swiss Teams Event.This will be held on Sunday 9th April 2006

The district plays representative matches against Cumbria Bridge Assocaition and Wigtownshire, Both of these 'grudge' matches are played in a true sporting spirit.
