Minutes of Previous MeetingsAmendments to minutes. S.Benson was present. Under item 5 Tony Cheatham should read Track & Field Secretary and Officials Secretary. Also the T & F Champs will be held at Ipswich. Item 7 Cross Country should read ‘Must complete entire county champs forms for all age categories’. Item 11 after ‘taken £1000 add for active sports’ Then signed as a true record. |

Finance We have taken in approx £1800.00 from T & F entries and Affiliations. Spent £730.00. Karen handed over some money collected on coach to Nottingham less £12 for coach parking. |

Track & FieldEverything is ready and in place for the championships at Ipswich on Sunday. Entries are slightly up on last year plus number of events. Dates for future Track and Field events are as follows; Hibbard on 4th September at Stevenage, SEAA U20 Intercounties on 28th August at Abington, Eastern Champs on 21st August at Ipswich UKCAU on 29th and 30th May at Bedford Karin had read a letter out which was sent to all coaches in Suffolk to inform them of the County section procedure. |

Cross Country The Championships will be held at RAF Barnham near Thetford on January
15th 2006. Other dates are ECCA relays on 12th November
; Southern Intercounties on 10th December ; Southern Champs at
Exmouth on 28th January 2006 ; ECCA National at Parliament Hills
on 25th February 2006 ; UKCAU Intercounties at Nottingham on 11th
March 2006. |

Road Running Had a successful 20 mile championship on 27th February for results see website. On the 22nd May the 5 mile championship will take place in with the Jaffa 5/10 race. The 10K champs will be held with the Newmarket 10K race on 3rd July. At the AGM of the SEAA the road levies were increased to £2.00 from £1.00. There are new report forms for all road races much easier to fill in. |

Sports Hall Athletics No report |

Officials Rachel Smith is now a Grade 4 Field and is added to list. The subject of the officials conference came up and it was noted that nothing is being done for road officials who are now called endurance officials. Chairman to write to officials committee to raise this subject. |

Coaching Paul and Joe attended a Suffolk Athletics Action group meeting on 20th April which was chaired by Ray Wells. It was an interesting meeting and touched on the renewal of coaching licenses and there credits they have to achieve. These are important issues and they are trying to help in what ever way they can. Next meeting is on 20th July. |

Correspondence New Club Saxmundham Sports R & FC were approved by the committee and have paid affiliation to Suffolk and the SEAA. |

Any Other Business The website came up with regards that the site is almost full and will need to look at expanding or going to another source. Paul Felton to sort out ready for next meeting. Karin Mead had fill in form for a grant for Nicki Morgan. A request had been received by the secretary from Chris Starmer with reference payment for petrol to take team to Hasting in a road race to represent the county, it was agreed for him to contact Tony Cheatham with his mileage and at the next meeting a price per mile will be agreed. |
