Grand Prix
It was decided that to much work had to be put into the Grand Prix for the amount of runners taking part, thus the series has be disbanded.
Clubs will be asked to put forward any new ideas they have for any other type of series but in the mean time ask all clubs to support the County events.
The Prizes for the late Grand Prix Series will be presented at the Stowmarket Scenic Seven on 10th November 2002.
7.
Permits/Pink returns forms
Some misunderstanding of the addition to the permit scheme has arisen to clarify: You need to apply for your permit 6 weeks before you go to print with entry forms, Not 6 weeks before your run. Your entry form MUST carry your permit Number “ permit applied for” is no longer acceptable. You should apply for your permit 6 months ahead of your event.
Your pink returns form should be returned to Joe Mower with your unattached levies and a full set of result no more than 14 days after your event.
X Country Permit:
The application was revamped in May 2002 & you should apply for permit 8 weeks before race and complete a risk assessment for the event.
Copies will be sent to all clubs hosting X Country events.
