Suffolk County Athletic Association

SUFFOLK COUNTY AA is the governing body of athletics within the county of Suffolk under the auspices of the Amateur Athletic Association. Its responsibilities include :-

     a) Staging County Championship events.
     b) Providing coaching for athletes.
     c) The training of officials.
     d) Selecting County teams for regional and national events.

There are nineteen athletic club affiliated to the county, in addition all the schools both private and public are automatically affiliated through the English Schools AA's. Whilst establishments of the H.M.Forces, (such as RAF Wattisham) are directly affiliated to the governing bodies i.e. AAA & UK:A. This means that members of all affiliated clubs, schools and H.M.Forces may enter our championships and therefore should receive our entry forms.
